NFL Playoffs

The playoffs have arrived in the NFL. The regular season theme was parity, but everything changes in the playoffs. Home field will not be that valuable in the first round. The pretenders cannot hide anymore as the cream must rise to the top.

Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana
(6) New York Jets (11-5) vs. (3) Indianapolis Colts (10-6)

Offense:Peyton Manning will be the best quarterback on the field and knows mistakes in the playoffs will quickly eliminate the Colts from the playoffs.

Defense: The Jets built their defense to limit teams like the Colts. Antonio Cromartie and Darelle Revis must be in shutdown mode to lock up Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon. The defense will be ready to play.

Special Teams: Brad Smith is one of the most dynamic special teams returners in the NFL. Smith should have a big day for the Jets.

Conclusion: Peyton Manning in his overall playoff history has struggled. The Jets defense will rise to the challenge. Expect the Jets to pull the upset as injuries will finally catch up with the Colts.
