Verlander dominant leads Tigers past Twins

Justin Verlander was extremely sharp and limited the Twins to 1 run in eight innings of work. Verlander now has a record of 13-5. Jhonny Peralta sparked the offense with 3 hits. The Tigers beat the Twins, 6-2. The win moved the Tigers into sole possession of 1st place in the AL Central with a record of 52-46.
