Patriots’ Ochocinco Scores, But Far From Ready

Ochocinco’s 8-yard touchdown catch on Thursday against Tampa Bay should not take away all the miscues between him and Tom Brady.

On three other throws that targeted the celebrated wideout in a Patriots’ rout, Ocho and Tom Brady had a miscommunication, Ocho leaped and got clobbered on a deep in-cut and he caught a slant.

“It’s like a machine out there and I’m that one part that’s not up with anybody else,” Ocho admitted. “I got a long way to go, personally.”

During the game, Ochocinco got pulled off the field for not hustling on 29-yard run. The days of slacking in Cincinnati are long gone. As you can expect Ochocinco spent the remainder of the evening next to receivers coach Chad O’Shea.
