The team starts the season with three exciting games at Allen Fieldhouse against Pittsburg State, Fort Hays State and Towson. After those contests, the team travels for a huge game against Kentucky at Madison Square Garden in the Champions Classic. The team then travels to Hawaii for three great games at the Maui Invitational against Georgetown, either UCLA or Chaminade and concludes the invitational with an opponent that is yet to be determined. After the tournament, the team travels home for the last game of the month against Florida Atlantic. It should be a great month for the team, that should give them some confidence before heading into their December games.

The team has seven big games this month with five being at home. The biggest challenge of the month will be traveling to the west coast to face a hungry USC team. The team also plays a game in Missouri in what should be an interesting match up against Davidson. The team will play home games against South Florida, Long Beach State, Ohio State, Howard, and North Dakota. The team should play excellent ball this month, which should prepare them for their January games.

The team plays Kansas State, Iowa State, Baylor, and Texas A&M at home, which should be very competitive games.
