NCAA Basketball:Georgetown Coach John Thompson III On Heat Seat
Even though the Hoyas won 74-65 over Rutgers on Saturday January, 15,...
The one thing the world is learning about Mike Sherman is that he gives a hell of a pregame speech. The team routinely jumps out to leads over opponents in the first half. Unfortunately, a football game has two halves, but it would not shock most sports fans who have watched this team play, if this team wins the first half of all their games this season. The team seems to come out with a lot of competitive fire, determination, and intensity. Even though, the team has lost leads in the second half this season, when they move to the SEC in the near future to play most opponents, the team is sure to hold its own because most games will be played in the upper 20′s or low 30′s on the scoreboard. As long as the team has a great recruiting year in the off season, particularly on defense, coupled with the coach who clearly gives the best pregame speech in America, the Aggies certainly have a bright future going forward.
