The UCLA Bruins’ basketball schedule will be difficult, but the team is planning to shock the nation this season. The team will play inside-out basketball with plenty of motion on offense coupled with stifling defense.  Ben Howland is focused on helping this team play up to its potential, which should mean winning the Pac 12 conference and making a deep NCAA tournament run.

The team has four games this month, with only one game being on the road. The season starts with two important games against Loyola Marymount and Middle Tennessee State. After those contests, the team travels on the road to face a feisty Chaminade squad. The month concludes with an interesting contrast of styles as the team takes on Pepperdine. The month should go very well for the team and they should build some confidence before heading into their December games.

The team has eight quality games this month with only two games coming on the road. The first six games will test the team at home with competitive games against (8) Texas, Pennsylvania, Eastern Washington, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and Richmond. The month concludes with two games against familiar conference opponents in Stanford and UC Berkeley. The team should have quite a bit of success before moving into tough conference play in January.

The team has seven tough games this month with three being on the road in hostile environments against USC, Oregon State and Oregon. The team starts the month with two games at home against (17) Arizona, Arizona State, and ends the month against new conference foes at home against Utah and Colorado. The team should play good ball this month and should improve as they move into their February games.

The team has eight challenging games this month and will have to play very well with five games coming on the road against (23) Washington, Washington State, (18) St. John’s, Arizona State, and (17) Arizona. The team plays home games against Stanford, UC Berkeley, and USC. This will be the toughest month for the team, but they have the talent to win several games and build some momentum for big time March basketball.

The team starts the month with their final home game of the regular season and the home crowd will be rocking as the seniors will take the floor for the last time against Washington State. The Cougars will be in for quite a fight from the team on March 1st. The regular season concludes on the road against a talented (23) Washington team. After that game, the team will prepare for the Pac 12 tournament and shortly thereafter the team will get ready to shock the nation in the NCAA tournament.

The team worked extremely hard in the off season and looks like they could have a special season. Ben Howland is fired up and determined to have this team ready to compete each game. Fans and supporters of the program around the world expect the team to win the Pac 12 championship and have a magical run in the NCAA tournament that could end with them shocking the nation by winning the national championship.
