Cain Velasquez: Can He Overcome Dos Santos Reach Advantage?

Cain Velasquez is undeniably a warrior in the octagon and deserves all the praise and love that he is receiving from fans all across the world.  His 9-0 record is likely to suffer a blemish with the height and slight reach advantage that Junior Dos Santos has over him during their upcoming fight at UFC on Fox 1.

He is smart and will definitely try to get Dos Santos off his feet, but he is likely to suffer quite a bit of punishment if he is over aggressive or not patient in picking his opportunities.  The crowd will definitely be behind him and it will be interesting to see if he can take his game to another level with quite a bit a pressure on him to perform.

Dana White finally has what he wants a main event that should not only live up to the hype, but there is definitely is not a clear cut winner as the fight could end up going either way. I believe both fighters do not mind exchanging and trading blows, but the fight dramatically shifts in Dos Santos favor it that happens. It should be a great fight, but even if Cain Velasquez brings his A game, he will come up a little short.  Fox Sports will be proud of the UFC and fans will enjoy the show.
