Nike and Jordan Brand will unveil their latest innovations in basketball apparel design through their Hyperelite uniforms, which will unveiled the first time by preseason No. 1 North Carolina and their opponents Michigan State University in the Carrier Classic.
Each jersey is made of 17 recycled bottles, with the total number of recycled plastics used for all Fall 2011 uniforms enough to divert enough waste from landfills to cover 10 basketball courts. Think of it as high tech meets environmentally friendly.
