Whenever major superstars come together there is always the risk that the two major superstars will have an ego clash; however, that will not be the case between Hanley Ramirez and Jose Reyes. That is absolutely great news for Miami Marlins’ fans who expect the team to not only contend in the NL East division next season, but possibly win the World Series.
To give you an idea of just how excited Reyes is and the potential that he thinks the team has, he recently stated, “As soon as I have the opportunity, I’m going to talk to him, because we are very good friends. We’re both here for one reason—to win the World Series. It doesn’t matter where I’m going to play or where he’s going to play. If you see the lineup and the pieces we have, you have to think we can compete with anybody.”
Expectations and optimism definitely is running high on South Beach because this team is going to give fans plenty to cheer about next season.
