Eli Manning Better Than Aaron Rodgers?

When Eli Manning called himself a top 5 quarterback at the start of the season, many critics laughed and scoffed, however, no one is doubting the elite status of the New York Giants’ franchise quarterback anymore.

It’s probably not a fair question at this point in time with the Joe Philbin tragedy, eight uncharacteristic drops from his team, but it has still has to be asked because life is not fair. Did Eli Manning prove that he is better than Aaron Rodgers with the recent win at Lambeau Field?  After the win, Manning is now in position to possibly win his 2nd Vince Lombardi Trophy, which would move him ahead of Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Aaron Rodgers in that category.

For the game Rodgers’ stats certainly were not bad at 26-46, 264 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception and a 78.5 passer rating, while Manning’s stats were amazing at 21-33, 330 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception and a 114.5 passer rating.

It is going to be a great rivalry to watch going forward between these two elite quarterbacks, but the quarterback in New York with the poor body language is winning the battle right now.
