According to Portland’s KEZI, the Miami Dolphins have contacted Chip Kelly to gauge his interest in becoming the next coach of the team. It is a familiar theme where another great talent is considering bringing his talents to South Beach.
Kelly would bring his offensive philosophy of having one of the fastest shows on turf, which just might be exactly what the Fins need in a competitive AFC East division as they have plenty of speed and talent currently on the roster. Kelly has always been known as a players’ coach, so if he does accept the job it will be interesting to see if he encourages the organization to select LaMichael James sometime between the third through the fifth rounds of the 2012 NFL Draft.
