NCAA Basketball:Georgetown Coach John Thompson III On Heat Seat
Even though the Hoyas won 74-65 over Rutgers on Saturday January, 15,...
1. New York Rangers (26-9-4) Fans are in love with Olivia Munn because she is bringing the team plenty of good luck as the team is 9-1 in their last 10 games. The team seems focused and as a result Coach John Tortorella will be in Ottawa for the all-star game.
2. Vancouver Canucks (26-14-3) The Cory Schneider era is off to a good start and he certainly gives the team great leadership. Coach Alain Vigneault seems to be pushing all the right buttons and this team does not seem like it will slow down any time soon.
3. Boston Bruins (26-11-1) This is clearly the best defensive team in the league and opponents dread seeing them on the schedule right now. The team is 8-2 in their last 10 games. As good as they have been, they seem to be capable of playing even better.
4. San Jose Sharks (23-11-4) The Sharks have been stingy on defense this season and are one of the most complete teams in the NHL. The team is 8-1-1 in their last ten games and are building plenty of momentum for the second half of the season.
5. St. Louis Blues (24-12-5) The Blues are certainly leaving opponents feeling a little blue with their tough defense this season. They have more than enough potential to go by Detroit in the second half of the season. The team has great chemistry, looks focused, and should peak at the right time of the season.
