Oregon Ducks Quarterback Darron Thomas Enters NFL Draft

Oregon Ducks’ quarterback Darron Thomas is entering the 2012 NFL Draft.  While, you never want to stand in the way of a young man and his dreams,however, it is a puzzling decision because he still has quite a bit of improvement to demonstrate he is serviceable NFL quarterback.  Now many questions will have to be answered. Is he willing to switch positions? Can he tweak his throwing motion? Can he make throws on time?

Perhaps Thomas feels he is prepared to make the jump to the NFL because he feels that he is better than current Pittsburgh Steelers Dennis Dixon.   Commenting on his decision to enter the NFL draft, Thomas recently stated, “I came to this decision on behalf of myself and my family. I have a dream of playing in the NFL and I’m going to pursue those dreams.”

It will be different not seeing Darron Thomas running the show next season at Oregon and certainly he has done an excellent job of leaving a positive imprint on the program. He will certainly be missed by fans of the football program in Eugene and all across the world.
