Roy Williams: Fiery, ACC Powerhouse, and March Madness

Roy Williams certainly is not running from the lofty expectations the North Carolina Tar Heels have this season.  At 14-2, the team is on the path to win the ACC, build some momentum and hopefully peak for the big seven games in March.

Commenting on how his team handles adversity and the prospect of winning a national championship, Williams recently stated, “I would agree that’s what it is, and I jumped on them pretty hard.  If I had to say, it was concentration, and in league play you have to be able to play the whole total game. You have to be able to do it for 40 minutes.”

The Tar Heels are looking better each week and don’t be surprised if the NCAA Championship Trophy ends up in Chapel Hill once again at season’s end.
