With all the turmoil in the New York Jets’ locker room, it is clear that Mark Sanchez is not the right quarterback for the team. Sorry, Jets’ fans the odds of landing Peyton McNabb is slim, but a motivated Donovan McNabb just might be the answer.
He wants to put together at least one more quality season to finish his career off in style and silence some of his critics. After two lackluster seasons in a row for the Washington Redskins and the Minnesota Vikings, at times Donovan has looked like he may have held on to long; however, it is time for him to dig down deep and show some heart.
Commenting on playing next season, McNabb recently stated, “I see three teams in the NFL, right now, that I feel like I can add a little bit of flavor to it from what they have.” Hopefully, some of that flavor that McNabb is talking about lands in the Big Apple next season because if the Jets don’t land Manning, he would certainly be an upgrade over Mark Sanchez.
