Jon Jones

Sometimes it is hard to appreciate greatness in action, but Jon Jones is becoming a legend right in front of fight fans’ eyes like no fighter ever has in history. He is capable of beating Anderson Silva down the line, but first he will take care of business on April 21st at UFC 145, when he walks through Rashad Evans with ease.

‘Suga’ is too sweet, has no shot during this fight, and will experience the 2nd loss of his career in Atlanta. Commenting on his plan to destroy Evans, “Bones” Jones recently stated, “I’m so excited about fighting Rashad. I can’t wait to get past this chapter in my career. I’ve been calling him the antagonist in my career because of all the hype and all the drama. So I’m a happy man. I’m excited to retain my title on April 21st.”

After winning this grudge match with Evans, it will be time for Jones to focus in on defeating Anderson Silva, so that he can become the greatest fighter in the world.

Tis’ true.  Jones is surely a one man wrecking crew.  He has the ability to ‘switch’ personas from in/out of the octagon, mean bad ass or sweet gentleman.  He is god fearing, and a mother lovin’ good son and most all other great adjectives.  However, a ‘good’ loss never hurt anyone.  If Evans finds that zone, and I am thinking he will, Jones might have a tough night.  Why else is he promising pain and embarrassment?  And really, getting into a cage with Bones Jones is embarrassing?  Evans is in Jones head.  Trust me.  I’ve been 24, and I’ve been 32.  Evans is swimming in Jones’ head non stop.  This could be a mess for Rashad, or a meaning full loss for Jones.  Even though Bones is AMAZING, imagine what knowledge and insight this brilliant fighter would gain with a loss.  Then, and ONLY then will Jon Jones be the kind of fighter most people now already think he is…Aside from
Rocky Marciano 49-0 43KO’s a good loss never hurt anyone…Rocky was 1-0 as a pro, and dropped back down to amateur, lost a few fights, came back as a pro and never lost again…So technically speaking, a good loss did in fact help Marciano…I wish the best to both fighters, but if Evans can hurt/stun Jones (will happen sometime) things could change drastically…Re-read this post…lol…Peace out to all, and to all a good fight!
