NCAA Basketball:Georgetown Coach John Thompson III On Heat Seat

On the day after Randy Moss turned 35, the disgruntled receiver indicated that he would like to return to football in 2012.
“I wanna play football,” Moss said on UStream on Monday morning. “Your boy is going to come back here and play some football, so I’m really excited. I had some things I had to adjust in my life.”
Even before Moss steps on the field, verbal jabs have been thrown between former Vikings receivers Randy Moss and Cris Carter who played four years together and went to two NFC Championship games as teammates.
“The one thing you have to address with Randy Moss is not a conditioning thing,” Carter said. “It’s not an age thing. It needs to be addressed. I believe it’s the elephant in the room. It’s that thing called quit. And Randy, not like any other superstar I’ve met, he has more quit in him than any of those other players. So I need to address that. I think that’s what Belichick did when he brought him over from Oakland.”
During their Viking days Carter acted as a mentor to Moss.
“its sad how u stroked ur own ego when u were suppose to b my mentor!” Moss tweeted Tuesday morning after Carter’s on-air criticism. “then u wonder why karma bites u in the ass!#goodlukwithhof”
Even though Carter criticized Moss, he would still pick him over other aging receivers because of his speed and athleticism.
