Pacquiao: God says to retire
In recent months, Manny Pacquiao has made some changes to his lifestyle which include giving up gambling and late-night partying. These changes were made from a dream Pacquiao had telling him to give up the vices.
From the same dream, Pacquiao told a radio station in Manilla that he was told by God in a dream to retire soon.
“I will not stay long in boxing because He said: ‘You have done enough. You have made yourself famous but this is harmful,’ ” Pacquiao told DVMM.
The champion said that religion will not hurt his boxing prowess and that he’ll “do my work inside the ring.” He believes God wants him to use his fame to spread the Christian message.
Pacquiao scheduled for June 9 in Vegas. After all, that fight will reportedly pay him $25 million.
