Russell Westbrook makes case for mvp award

We have heard Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, LeBron James or Chris Paul may be the regular season MVP so far, but the player who may not be getting enough consideration is Russell Westbrook. He is largely responsible for leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a NBA best 40-13 record, averaging 24.5 points a game, 5.5 assists a game, and arguably is the most improved player in the league.

While, he certainly is highly criticized and maligned for shooting too much, it is impossible to argue with success.  Time after time this season, he has displayed ridiculous athletic displays that prove he is the most athletic point guard in the league. Check out this recent video of him making a case for regular season mvp with a thunderous slam dunk.
