LeBron James legacy determined by Kevin Durant!

Kobe Bryant solidified. Kevin Durant emerging. LeBron James has hinted that legacy is determined at the end of a player’s career, but he may want to rethink that assessment.  While, many critics have accepted that the Black Mamba will leave the NBA with more championships than James, those same critics will be far less forgiving if the Durantula wins an equal or greater amount of championships.

In fact, Bron is now facing a scary scenario for any superstar player, where he is in jeopardy of not being regarded as the best player of his generation.

This means that no matter how many comparisons are made to Magic Johnson, Oscar Robertson, or Michael Jordan, without a championship in the next year or two, the boo birds will come back from fans. Freakish athletic ability, hot dogging, barnum and bailey circus type tactics, a tough scowl on his face of late have all been characters or the persona of LeBron James thus far in his NBA career; however, the player who he must be better than if he does not want to be considered a failure by some is Kevin Durant.  If LBJ does not surpass KD, it is going to be very difficult for him to gain clear acceptance into top ten NBA players of all time.
