Dwight Howard: the impact of linsanity on superman

Dwight Howard is the rare superstar in the NBA who still has so much more room to improve. Joining Jeremy Lin on the Houston Rockets would help the emotional center take the next step. Sounds a little outrageous right? Sure the dynamic duo will need to recruit another superstar of two down the line, but when you factor in just how much Kevin McHale would help Howard expand his offensive arsenal, the center would be hard pressed to find a better fit since he desperately feels the need to sever ties with the Orlando Magic.

A lot of analysts have underestimated the impact of McHale on Kevin Garnett’s offensive development during their time together on the Minnesota Timberwolves.  Also, Howard has never played for a coach he likes during his NBA career, but I believe McHale could bridge the gap and build a productive relationship with the center.

It should be noted that Yao Ming and Hakeem Olajuwon would make it their personal mission to help the center continue to get better if he joined the team.  For those supporters of the center, who have been waiting for the center to fully unlock his potential, the Rockets seem to have the perfect fit.

With the opportunity to build more international fans by pairing with arguably the hottest phenomenon in the NBA right now known as Linsanity, the time has come for Superman to take flight and suit up for the Houston Rockets next season.
