Alabama leapfrogged USC for the No. 1 spot in both The Associated Press and USA Today college football polls, after a convincing win over Michigan.
Alabama received 45 first-place votes in the AP poll and 37 first-place votes in the USA Today coaches poll. While the Trojans received 11 first-place votes in the AP poll and 14 in the USA Today poll.
